Leveraging the engaging power of images in the classroom can help 21st century learners conceptualize content in new and exciting ways. Join fellow instructors Sonjia Drimmer (Art History) and Head of the Image Collection Library (ICL) Brian Shelburne in an explorative discussion of visual literacy, learning from examples of those employing visual literacy concepts in their courses. This forum will also be an opportunity to discuss various competencies and standards that assist in the incorporation of visual literacy into a course or a curriculum.
Refreshments will be served. Seats are limited. Register by Monday, December 2.
