SPIRE & Go.UMass Portal Unavailable from 5:00 p.m. - Fri, 5/29

SPIRE and the go.umass.edu portal will be unavailable beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015 until 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30 while we perform routine maintenance. If you experience problems with SPIRE after this maintenance window, please clear your browser's cache before contacting the IT Help Center during normal business hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.). 

Wired and Wireless Networks Now Available After Brief Outage, Tues., 5/26

UMass Amherst IT has restored wired and wireless connectivity to areas affected by a service outage on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. The wired and wireless networks were unavailable in multiple buildings in the Northwest area of campus from approximately 12:30 - 1:00 p.m. 

Members of the university community may experience brief service interruptions during the day as UMass Amherst IT performs maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please contact the IT Help Center with any questions.

Alert! New Phishing Scam Targets UMass Amherst Account Information

Several new phishing messages have been targeting UMass Amherst students, faculty, and staff. Recently, we have seen messages claiming to be from “ezpass” with a malicious attachment.

This week, we have seen messages with the subject “ITS Service Desk” that "requires your immediate re-activiation of your Email account,” and asks recipients to follow a web link.
