Security Community of Practice
The Security Community of Practice (SCOP) is an interest group for IT professionals at UMass Amherst sponsored by UMass Amherst IT. Meetings occur quarterly and are intended as a forum for best practices on computer security topics. Past topics include:

- Using Identity Finder
- Information security controls
- Legal issues related to security breaches
